Technology Business Systems Associate

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Business Systems Associate

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in researching, evaluating and investigating low complexity transactions and data to meet business requirements

  • Review basic technical business problems that can be resolved with automated systems related to low-risk tasks and deliverables

  • Receive direction from supervisors and exercise judgement within defined parameters in the development of guidelines for the use of result tracking systems

  • Coordinate project plans, schedules, budgets and provide information to managers, functional colleagues and stakeholders within technology business systems operations

  • Interact with experienced Business Systems Consultants on revising existing automated systems that are cost effective and meet business requirements

  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and make necessary changes to the database


Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Financial services experience (Capital Markets, Wealth and Investment Management, Banking, Mortgage, Insurance); prior consulting experience is a plus
  • Relevant industry certification such as, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CBCP, ITIL, ISTQB, PMP or other specialized IT certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
  • Proficient in data manipulation and working with databases
  • Thought leadership in the field of Quality Assurance and testing
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new tools and technologies
  • A “go-getter” attitude, passion to constantly improve and perform at the highest level
  • Planning, implementing and quality assurance for large testing projects to include test automation, test data management/analytics and innovative uses of technology or data analytics to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Training team members with a goal of fostering an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
  • Sharing your knowledge and developing tools and enablers to build capability for the team / service.
  • years of overall experience spanned across various testing area
  • Experience in mainframe testing and automation (in-sprint automation experience is a huge plus)
  • Hands-on experience in Automation framework implementation, planning, scripting and execution for mobile apps
  • Experience in maintaining and enhancing automation test suites.
  • Automation framework (data driven, hybrid and behavior driven development concepts), design and enhancements on selenium with Java
  • Version control repo like GITHUB and SVN
  • Test scheduling and execution on Jenkins, etc.
  • HP-QC/ALM, TFS, JIRA or a relevant defect management tool
  • Knowledge and understanding of test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance or a related field and relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse environments
  • Experience in User Acceptance development & implementation
  • Knowledge and understanding of business tools and processes
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience developing and cultivating professional relationships
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
