Job Summary

Responsible for partnering with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate clear functional and non‑functional requirements through interviews, workshops, observations, and review of existing processes. Translate business needs into structured artifacts (user stories, requirements specifications, acceptance criteria) and perform detailed analysis and gap assessments to define solution scope and priorities.

Develop and maintain traceability between requirements and test conditions, write comprehensive test cases, coordinate and execute acceptance and system tests, and drive defect triage until resolution. Serve as the primary liaison between business and delivery teams to clarify ambiguities, manage change to requirements, and ensure solutions meet business objectives and acceptance criteria.

Please note: We are looking for someone with experience working within the Waterfall methodology.

Job Description

What You'll Do:

  • Performs intermediate business/project analysis functions assigned by senior staff with little guidance and direction.
  • Continues developing skills in general system and business analysis, planning, facilitation.
  • Develops functional & non-functional requirements, creates documentation, maintains corporate assets, and performs system analysis
  • Creates test plan, writes test cases, and executes tests.
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude by utilizing querying tools, understanding data modeling and maintenance of data, and system configuration; able to understand and apply technology solutions.
  • Creates work plans while learning and applying best practices
  • Builds domain knowledge and understands core business capabilities
  • Analyzes, resolves and implements appropriate solutions for basic to intermediate problems.
  • Provides process redesign and support including using tools, responding to user questions, problem diagnosis, recognition of process improvements, research, troubleshooting, tracking and resolution.
  • Develop knowledge and fundamental awareness of the planning and monitoring of expenditures to meet organizational objectives and compliance.
  • Develop financial management of assets and resources to utilize when making process changes.
  • Works within the Waterfall methodology

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study
  • Or Associate's degree in computer science or related field of study with 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Or High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.

Experience:

  • In addition to any experience required above, 2 years of relevant work experience is required.

Compensation Range:

$74,551.00 - $93,188.50

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: S – Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
