Position Highlights:

• Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina

• Part Time

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

What You'll Do:

• Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.

• Assists technologists in preparing patient for CT procedure(s) and room clean up to effectively maintain workflow.

• Exhibits innovation and collegiality in work performance.

• Assists with restocking of examination rooms with supplies necessary for patient care and CT procedure(s).

• Monitors/coordinates patient transportation to CT rooms, patient floors, and ED areas and maintains appropriate records/documentation that contributes to the efficiency of the departmental operations.

• Contributes to the overall quality of service by effectively transporting patients and administering to their needs.

• Participates in planning by establishing personal goals to support quality improvement efforts and contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives.

• Provides age/developmentally appropriate patient care is accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served.

• Contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances

• Occasionally subject to irregular hours

• Personal protective equipment required including eye protection, face protection, gown, mask, sterile/non-sterile medical gloves, utility gloves, lead gloves/aprons
