Technician Service and Maintenance
Who are we?
We are Lifecycle Performance Services (LPS), part of the FORTNA Group. LPS supports every FORTNA customer by providing customer specific services for delivered components, transport and sorting solutions. We maintain, modify and optimize systems and provide the customer with 24/7 support. The organization is growing strongly because the market is asking for our systems and our services. Due to this growth, we are looking for professionals who can help us build our winning organization.
What are we looking for?
For our service team in The Netherlands (Niewegein) we are looking for Technicians Service and Maintenance. With this service team you ensure that the performance levels of the systems are and remain optimal of an well-known Dutch Customers. You do this by solving malfunctions, coordinating and carrying out inspections, maintenance and the necessary spare parts. In this way you are in an important link between our customer and the FORTNA office.
As a Service and Maintenance Technician, you work mainly at two to three locations following a shift schedule. Flexibility and availability in the day and evening is essential for the performance of this position. You will receive a travel and overnight stay allowance for traveling if applicable. Preferably you live in Utrecht (NL) region.
Your main tasks are:
• Carrying out inspections and maintenance
You are in continuous contact with the customer about the performance of the system and you ensure that the systems work and continue to work. This allows you to perform mechanical and electrical inspections on the system. You also carry out the planned maintenance at the agreed times in consultation with the customer, the FORTNA customer support coordinator and teamleader.
• Solving and analyzing malfunctions
You are present during the customer's operation and you intervene when malfunctions occur. In doing so, you find out the cause of the malfunction and you solve this malfunction. You support and train the customer in the correct use of the system.
• Coordinating and optimizing
In collaboration with your FORTNA colleagues, you ensure that parts stocks are kept up-to-date and that you coordinate new deliveries. In addition, you contribute to optimizing the work processes and the work to be performed. In this way we improve together and prevent deviations in the operation and the work.
