Job Description

As a Remote Support Technician – Drives & Motion, you will deliver remote technical support for Rockwell Automation drives, motion systems, and motor control solutions. You will troubleshoot PowerFlex drives, Kinetix servo systems, and MCC applications while helping customers across Brazil overcome technical challenges. You will also collaborate with regional teams to improve support operations and contribute to knowledge documentation.

You will be part of the regional Remote Support team, collaborating closely with senior specialists and peers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will deliver remote technical support for Rockwell Automation Drives, Motion, and Power products, including VFDs, Servo Drives, and MCC solutions.
  • Troubleshoot PowerFlex drives, Kinetix motion systems, and MCC issues, focusing on configuration, diagnostics, and performance.
  • Support integration of Drives and Motion with Logix controllers using Studio 5000.
  • Analyze drive faults, motion behaviors, network communication, and power-related issues to identify root causes.
  • Manage assigned customer cases, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution.

The Essentials – You Will Have:

  • Technical degree in Electrical, Automation, or Industrial Control Systems.
  • Practical experience with Rockwell Automation Drives & Motion products, such as:
    • PowerFlex Drives (525, 527, 755, 700 or similar)
    • Kinetix Servo Drives and Integrated Motion
    • Motor Control Centers (Centerline / Intelligent MCCs)
  • 1+ years of experience with EtherNet/IP networks applied to Drives and Motion and in remote troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

  • Experience participating in regional consultation and escalation processes for Drives & Motion topics.
  • Experience contributing to KCS knowledge creation and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Experience collaborating with senior specialists and cross-functional technical teams.
