Location/Division Specific Information:
The team ensures the proper functioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical utility systems, including refrigeration, water treatment, freeze-drying, and sterilization systems, in compliance with GMP and safety regulations.
How Will You Make an Impact?:
You will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production utility systems, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous manufacturing operations. By maintaining compliance with GMP and safety standards, you will contribute directly to product quality, operational continuity, and overall site performance.
A Day in the Life:
- Perform routine checks on production utility systems, start and secure systems when required, and monitor consumables to ensure optimal functionality.
- Execute and document preventive and predictive maintenance activities using the maintenance management system, collaborating with external technical service providers when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system faults during production activities, proposing long-term corrective solutions and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.
Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. (***If a Degree or specific Apprenticeship or Technical Certification is required please modify the first sentence and add the specifics here***)
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Preferred: Experience working in a clean room environment (Remove if not relevant)
Preferred: Experience testing complex electromechanical systems (Remove if not relevant)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations
- Basic knowledge of thermodynamics and water treatment systems.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing and technical environment, including production areas and utility rooms. The role may require standing for extended periods, working in clean room environments, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and occasional lifting of technical components. Availability to respond to technical issues during operational hours is required.
