Ensure that laboratory instruments are operational by performing the appropriate daily checks, calibrations and maintenance activities. In collaboration with internal customers, organizes the installation of laboratory instruments. Is proactive and communicates easily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the follow-up/maintenance/calibration of laboratory equipment.

Schedule and manage regular calibrations and preventive maintenance in conjunction with internal customers and/or equipment providers.

Participate in the selection, acquisition and on-site implementation of new laboratory instruments.

In collaboration with other QA team members and SMEs, be responsible for the implementation of new procedures including current regulatory requirements.

Perform the periodic review of laboratory instrument procedures

Participate in the technical investigation and resolution of laboratory instrument failures (e.g, instrument repair).

Proactively identify, report and propose solutions to future problems

Adhere to the quality systems and ensure compliance with GxP standards.

Support through NCR ownership or otherwise the Non conformance process.

Required skills/qualifications

  • Familiarity with Lab Equipment Calibration/Maintenance operations, ideally in the Medical Device industry

  • 2 years experience in similar environment and/or an Engineering/Technical degree (or equivalent)

  • Proficient in English

  • Positive mindset/team player

  • Able to work in a highly regulated environment

  • Customer focused

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €24,000.00 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
