Location/Division Specific Information:
The role is part of the Technical Services & TPM department and operates within the Mechanical Workshop supporting production departments and plant operations. The team provides manufacturing, repair, and modification of mechanical components to ensure continuity and efficiency of production systems.

How Will You Make an Impact?:
You will support production reliability by manufacturing and repairing mechanical components essential to plant operations. Through precision workmanship and adherence to safety and GMP standards, you will contribute to operational continuity, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life:
- Perform welding activities for the repair and construction of metal components (steel, iron, aluminum, etc.) used in production systems.
- Independently manage machining activities, including equipment setup and preparation of machine tools within the mechanical workshop.
- Repair or modify existing mechanical components and fabricate new parts according to mechanical drawings and production requirements.

Education: (NA or APAC)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Education: (EMEA)
High School Diploma, Secondary Education, Advanced Certificate, or equivalent. (***If a Degree or specific Apprenticeship or Technical Certification is required please modify the first sentence and add the specifics here***)

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Preferred: Experience working in a clean room environment (Remove if not relevant)
Preferred: Experience testing complex electromechanical systems (Remove if not relevant)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Knowledge of GMP and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Experience in metalworking techniques (welding, polishing, sanding, etc.).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Work is performed in a mechanical workshop and production environment. The role requires standing for extended periods, manual handling of mechanical components, use of workshop machinery and tools, and appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The position may require physical effort and precision manual work.
