You will be responsible for monitoring, operating, and responding to conditions involving building and utility systems across Moderna sites via centralized digital platforms. Acting as the primary interface for communication and escalation during all shifts, this role is essential to ensuring operational continuity and safety across the network. With a strong foundation in system navigation, alarm management, and maintenance coordination, you will serve as the nerve center of facilities communication, fielding calls and facilitating rapid issue response. The position also involves physical inspections and routine maintenance tasks, making it a hands-on, systems-aware, and communication-focused role. If you're technically adept, calm under pressure, and thrive in an environment where every alert matters—you'll find purpose here.

Ensure continuous 24/7/365 command center coverage, managing effective shift turnovers and preparing detailed passdown reports.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Handle process gas system oversight: monitoring quantities, ordering replacements, managing empty cylinders, and changing out as needed.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Record and track pH neutralization chemical additions and flow totalizer data.
Respond to utility system faults or alarms and perform immediate investigation or escalation.
Monitor off-hours Building Management System alarms from remote sites and initiate necessary actions.
Conduct building rounds to verify operational efficiency, safety, and system integrity.
Support effective coordination with Facilities, EHS, and Operations teams during incidents and planned activities.
Contribute to documentation and reporting processes that enhance situational awareness and compliance.
The key Moderna Mindsets you’ll need to succeed in the role:

As the first responder to infrastructure issues across Moderna campuses, you’ll own the command center's performance and its ability to safeguard uptime, utilities, and operational communication.
“We digitize everywhere possible using the power of code to maximize our impact on patients.”
This role relies on digital mastery—from interpreting BMS alarms to entering data into CMMS and reporting systems—ensuring Moderna's platform is secure, efficient, and continuously improving.
