The Opportunity

This position works out of our Santa Clara, CA location in the Abbott Vascular Devices division.

Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of vascular disease.

What You'll Work On

Preventive Maintenance

  • Perform routine inspections, servicing, and minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.

  • Conduct daily visual inspections of interior and exterior building lighting. Repair or replace components such as bulbs, ballasts, plugs, and other lighting hardware as needed.

General Repairs

  • Complete a variety of facility repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, drywall patching, and basic furniture assembly.

Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records by updating the work request system and logging all completed maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all required documentation is completed for every task performed.

Event Support

  • Assist with event operations by setting up and breaking down rooms and equipment as assigned.

Facility Inspections

  • Conduct routine daily walk-throughs of assigned buildings and spaces to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

Work Order Compliance

  • Follow all procedures outlined in the Facilities Work Request System to ensure proper task tracking and completion.

Required Qualifications 

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Computer: Understanding of Microsoft, Work Order Systems

  • Experience: Entry-level experience or 1–2 years in building maintenance, construction, or a related field.

  • Team Player: Able to work in a collaborative environment.

 

The base pay for this position is

$25.00 – $50.00/hour

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
