Primary Function:
The Equipment Technician is responsible in Maintenance, Test Circuit Failure Analysis and Repair of Test Hardware; ensure DFM practice; and use of simulation analysis tools. He/She will be under the Test Hardware Engineering group.
The Test Hardware Engineering Technician provides support to manufacturing operations by ensuring optimum equipment utilization through immediate equipment and board repair. He/She provides analysis and recommends solutions to equipment problems. He/She will assist engineers in the implementation of equipment improvement activities. He/She will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing support groups in addressing equipment and hardware issues.
Key Qualifications:
•Must have basic knowledge of electronic circuits, ability to interpret schematic diagrams, and familiarity with test equipment setup and operation
•Can operate the equipment (Explain major equipment subsystem)
•Performs simple setups and conversion.
Education and Experience
•Graduate of Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or any related vocational course.
•Fresh graduate or with at least 1 year work experience in electronics or semiconductor industry.
