Technical training and knowledge transfer is a critical success factor for our field engineering teams. The Technical Training Engineer will play a pivotal role in enabling the Americas-based field sales engineering resources on their journey to technical subject matter expertise across the Axis portfolio.
The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, flexible and passionate about what Axis has to offer. Applicants should have experience in sharing knowledge via different mediums and in training diverse individuals across departments and geographies. If you have a history of tinkering, deep diving into technology rabbit roles, and communicating technical concepts into something easily digestible, we would love to hear from you.
The selected individual must be based out of, or be willing to relocate to, our Chelmsford, MA office. This is an in-office role with the flexibility to work remotely one day. This position will report to the Director, Solutions Engineering & Services.
What you’ll do here as Technical Training Engineer?
Support the ongoing technology knowledge transfer to field sales engineering organization & other technical roles across the Americas
With support from Global Sales Engineering, build and run Americas Technical Training Center (TTC) annual class schedule
Maintain TTC facilities including product displays, lab equipment and infrastructure
Deliver training sessions regularly throughout the TTC season
Collaborate with global teams in defining technical curriculum needs, refining training materials, and producing content
Proactively work with other Axis teams responsible for learning materials (such as Academy, Product Introduction Management, etc.) and develop scalable learning concepts & training paths
Define and deliver additional means to scale knowledge transfer across the Americas region
Develop and implement course materials in various formats in preparation for launches or other key regional initiatives
Define, track, and report on KPIs for associated trainings & knowledge transfer

We'd love to hear that you have/are:
BA or BS – preferably in technology, engineering or related field
10+ years experience in information technology, physical security industry or related field
Deep product expertise across the Axis portfolio including a solutions-mindset, understanding how products integrate & function in real-world deployments

Pay range:
The approximate pay range for this role is $105,000-115,000 OTE on a 90/10 split. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
