About the Role

Cushman & Wakefield’s Sustainability & ESG Services team delivers advisory, certification, reporting, and asset optimization services to clients across Asia Pacific. We are seeking a Technical Analyst, Sustainability & ESG to join our APAC Net Zero team.

This role will be central to supporting sustainability certifications, energy audits, and carbon pathway projects for investor and occupier clients. You’ll work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to strategically grow our sustainability business, while helping organizations achieve their long-term net zero goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver NABERS ratings end-to-end under supervision, ensuring compliance with rating rules and assessor expectations.

  • Support energy audits and site investigations for commercial and institutional buildings.

  • Assist in developing Net Zero Carbon Pathways for buildings and portfolios.

  • Manage and analyze carbon and energy data, ensuring accuracy and audit-ready documentation.

  • Provide carbon accounting support across Scopes 1, 2, and relevant Scope 3 categories.

  • Interpret building services (lighting, HVAC, BMS, electrical loads) to support ratings and audit insights.

  • Engage directly with clients, facility teams, landlords, tenants, and internal teams to deliver outcomes.

  • Apply strong quality control and governance to ensure outputs are accurate and client-ready.

  • Produce clear, consistent reports aligned with templates and style guides.

  • Gain exposure to broader ESG frameworks including Green Star, GRESB, and CRREM.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, models, and workflows across the Net Zero team.

Key Skills & Capabilities

  • Advanced Excel and quantitative skills; ability to work with large, complex datasets.

  • Strong analytical mindset with commercial judgment.

  • Working knowledge of building services, particularly lighting and HVAC systems.

  • Comfort with rules-based frameworks (e.g., NABERS) and evidence-based reporting.

  • Excellent written communication skills for producing concise, decision-useful reports.
