Purpose of Role:
The Technical Support Specialist (TSS) plays a critical role in supporting the ENDURON High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) product line and associated Enduron equipment. Acting as the technical bridge between customers and internal teams, the TSS provides expert troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical proposals for upgrades, repairs, and reconditioning. This role ensures customer satisfaction, drives aftermarket growth, and contributes to product development through proactive solutions and collaboration across global teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strengthen and maintain customer relationships by converting aftermarket queries into technical or commercial solutions.
- Conduct root cause analyses of equipment failures using the 8D methodology.
- Develop aftermarket procedures and work instructions for service, repairs, and upgrades.
- Create and distribute safety and technical alerts; escalate complex issues to engineering teams.
- Provide interim technical repair instructions and standardize retrofit solutions for regional teams.
- Report and resolve internal and customer non-conformities in Weir’s quality management system.
- Train customers and regional teams in operational and service skills.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Spare Parts teams to deliver tailored technical solutions.
Job Knowledge, Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical support or engineering roles.
- Prior experience with HPGR operations and service is highly advantageous.
- Strong technical expertise combined with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to train and share knowledge with regional teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.
