Technical Support Engineer Intern

Krakow, Poland (Hybrid) Full Time

The internship will take place over the summer of 2026 (July 1 to September 30) and will require a full-time (40 hours per week) commitment with an in-office presence. Our office is located in Brain Park on Fabryczna Street in Kraków.

The Basics:

As a Tanium Technical Support Engineer Intern, you will support Tanium’s world-class customer organization, which is responsible for the satisfaction and retention of our broad range of customers and partners. This includes resolving technical issues and answering technical questions in a timely manner.
TSE interns experience this foundational role through dedicated training, 1:1 mentorship, team triage efforts, and shadowing opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with your dedicated mentor (a seasoned Technical Support Engineer) on real-world customer problems across security, operations, asset management, and risk management.
  • Contribute to triaging technical issues, engaging with customers, and conducting root cause analysis on live production implementations of Tanium.
  • Support efforts across:
    • Security: Forensics, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response
    • Operations: Compliance, Vulnerability Scanning, Patching, Integrity Monitoring
    • General automation
  • Assist customers with Tanium platform and module adoption, as well as upgrades.
  • Partner with other TSEs to support their assigned cases.
  • Shape, execute, and deliver special projects with fellow interns that directly impact Tanium customers.
  • Develop a deep understanding of how Tanium’s technology works, including how to support, operate, and integrate it.
  • Learn how to document best practices as well as track activity, document root causes, and produce accurate reports.
  • Rigorously test our product in a home lab environment.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Authorized to work in Poland now and in the future
  • Available to work full-time from July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026
  • Interested in continuing employment with Tanium after the internship
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computational Mathematics, or a related field
  • Open-minded, curious, and eager to learn
  • Passionate about troubleshooting, tinkering, and fixing things
  • Passionate about creating an exceptional customer experience (previous customer-facing experience is a plus)
  • Able to work independently with good judgement and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
