We’re looking for an Technical Support Engineer, field-based across the South of the UK, to assemble, commission, and maintain advanced power systems for global projects and events.

What you’ll do:
- Assemble and commission multi-generator power packages, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), UPS equipment, and hybrid arrangements.
- Configure and troubleshoot generator control systems and integrate BESS, ATS, and UPS equipment.
- Deliver safe, high-quality installations for temporary and semi-permanent solutions.
- Assess planned designs and suggest improvements to meet customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and report incidents or near misses.
- Travel globally for pre-planned projects and short-term support assignments.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Hands-on experience with generator control systems and hybrid power setups.
- Ability to commission and fault-find electrical systems logically and methodically.
- Understanding of diesel engine operation and control.
- Evidence of practical training and experience in electrical systems.
- Flexible for occasional out-of-hours work and global travel.
- Physically fit, DBS check required, and competent in Microsoft Office.
- Own well-maintained electrician’s hand tools (battery drill required).
