The Role
As a Technical Squad Leader at Kyndryl, you will lead multidisciplinary technical teams responsible for delivering reliable, high‑quality IT services in complex operational environments. In this role, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations, prioritize workload and capacity across squads, and ensure consistent delivery against defined SLAs and KPIs.
You will act as a key point of coordination between technical teams, customers, and internal stakeholders, managing escalations, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a result-oriented culture. Your leadership will be critical to maintaining service stability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in enterprise technology operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary technical squads, ensuring effective task prioritization, capacity management, and operational execution.
Drive service performance through ongoing monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics, ensuring results‑oriented delivery.
Manage operational and technical escalations, making timely decisions to resolve issues and minimize service impact.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders, providing clear communication, expectations management, and service transparency.
Promote continuous improvement through process optimization, automation initiatives, and performance analysis.

Required Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience managing technology operations or IT service delivery environments.
Proven experience leading technical teams and managing day‑to‑day operational workloads and priorities.
Strong understanding of IT operations, including infrastructure, cloud, support, and service management concepts.
Demonstrated experience managing SLAs, KPIs, operational metrics, and service performance.
Strong decision‑making skills and experience handling technical and operational escalations.
ITIL knowledge or certification.
Intermediate English proficiency for customer communication and collaboration with global teams.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Experience in enterprise or multi‑client service delivery environments.
Exposure to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at multiple organizational levels.
Experience working under pressure in high‑availability, mission‑critical environments.
