Performs routine administrative duties such as drafting correspondences, scheduling appointments, organising and maintaining data, as well as assisting internal and external stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
- • Namibian citizenship;
- • NQF level 7 tertiary qualification: LLB degree;
- • 6 years’ experience in a legal environment, with at least 1-2 years in an Insurance environment
- • Must be detail and quality orientated;
- • Computer literacy and good numeric skills are essential;
- • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills;
- • High energy levels and team player;
- • Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure;
- • Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- • Excellent verbal and written communicator with a passion for customer service and relationship building; and
- • Able to manage a team to achieve agreed financial and service targets.
Job Description:
- • Ensure compliance with internal and external service standards (NES) and meet SLA turnaround times
- • Drive growth of the direct channel and achieve revenue targets
- • Deliver on key portfolio performance metrics, including PAR and claims loss ratio
- • Achieve new business targets and maintain high renewal retention rates
- • Manage and grow the Commercial Lines (CL) policy portfolio
- • Provide high-quality service to customers and stakeholders
- • Conduct quality control through data collection, analysis, and reporting
- • Maintain and continuously improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements, avoiding breaches or fines
- • Uphold underwriting standards in line with company policies
- • Provide technical support to internal teams and deliver on-the-job training
- • Demonstrate strong leadership aligned with organizational values (Maadili charter)
- • Drive and support culture transformation initiatives (Project Pulse)
