Technical specialist (for Managed Services Solutions)

Summary

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Corporate Solutions team to support the delivery and deployment of custom security solutions for our clients.

Job description

Your main role will be to cooperate on:

• Deployment of Corporate Solutions offerings (trial environment setup, production deployment based on client’s requirements)

• Monitoring of environment where the solution is deployed

• Definition, technical setup and maintenance of key metrics

• Setup and maintenance of automated testing of the solution at new release

• Further evolution and technical enhancements of ESET Corporate Solutions offerings

What else does Technical Specialist role entail?

• you will work with Corporate Solutions team on delivery of ESET corporate offerings to Customer, which includes understanding Customer’s use case, requirements, understanding of ESET solution and approach, and participation on the delivery and deployment of the agreed solution

• you´ll get familiar with existing ESET products and their components as well as with the security managed services & tools, such as search‑based, distributed database systems, monitoring & logging tools, SIEM, SOAR, Kafka and BI tools

• having a 360-degree view about ESET security solutions and products you will  be able to setup and configurate them regarding customer needs

• you will analyze technical aspects of environments (architecture, infrastructure, OS, databases, etc.) & evaluate their advantages / disadvantages / limits / risks in order to be able to provide best potential solutions / configurations of security products in customer’s environment

What are our requirements?

Required skills and experience (infrastructure):

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (IAM, networking, compute, storage)

• Solid understanding of architectural differences and trade‑offs between OnPrem/Cloud/Hybrid deployments

• Linux/Unix administration experience (Ubuntu, Debian, Rocky, RedHat)

• Containerization & orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

Required skills and experience (data):

• Ability to analyze the data and find patterns, define rules/detections based on queries, visualize the result in the most effective format

• Experience with designing, operating, and maintaining log/event collections from various sources, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance

• Ability to troubleshoot general data issues, including ingestion failures, parsing problems, query inefficiencies, and performance degradation

• Experience with data querying in SQL (standard transactional databases) and NoSQL databases

Basic wage component (brutto): from 2 500 EUR

* Financial bonus based on performance paid twice a year up to 10% from the base salary paid during the evaluation period (normally 6 months).

* The final basic wage component can be increased accordingly to individual skills and experience of the selected candidate.
