We are hiring a Technical Solutions Architect (Ruby) to work with a global enterprise SaaS platform, designing scalable, API-driven integration solutions for large enterprise customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions using Ruby

• Build middleware applications integrating Smartsheet APIs with third-party enterprise systems

• Lead technical discovery and design sessions with customers

• Define scalable, performance-driven solution architectures

• Validate solution designs against platform best practices

• Review and provide feedback on architectural designs from other team members

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications

• Support pre-sales efforts including feasibility analysis and technical scoping

• Maintain high quality standards through documentation, testing, and peer reviews

• Serve as a subject matter expert on SaaS APIs and extensibility

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Strong experience with Ruby (Ruby on Rails preferred)

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs

• Experience integrating SaaS applications in enterprise environments

• Solid understanding of systems architecture and scalable design principles

• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders

• Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

• Experience leading technical projects from concept through delivery
