Technical Solution Manager

The Technical Solution Manager will be responsible for ensuring technical integrity and successful delivery of customer solutions within Naval Signature Management. While the core solution is largely defined, each customer may have unique requirements that require validation, adjustment, or minor customization. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on involvement during integration and testing phases including ownership of all technical documentation and active participation in customer-facing technical activities. Further the Technical Solution Manager will drive the software development cycle with external suppliers or in-house development teams and maintain close follow-up with all stakeholders.

This position involves working with defense clients and therefore requires eligibility for security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Ownership

    • Validate, confirm and adjust technical solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.

    • Take full responsibility for the technical aspects of the solution throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.

  • Integration and Testing

    • Actively participate in system integration and testing activities.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during implementation.

  • Documentation

    • Prepare and deliver all required technical documentation such as design review documents, quality assurance documentation, end-of-life documentation, status reports etc.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical records.

  • Customer Interaction

    • Lead technical discussions in customer meetings.

    • Provide training sessions for customers on technical aspects of the solution.

    • Support status meetings with clear technical updates.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

    • Work closely with the Project Manager and project team to ensure timely delivery in line with contractual commitments.

    • Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

    • Drive the software development cycle with external suppliers or in-house development teams to ensure timely and quality deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in technical solution management, integration, and testing.

  • Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.

  • Excellent communication skills for customer-facing technical discussions.

  • Ability to produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation.

  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving during implementation.

  • Eligibility for security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing technical aspects of complex projects.

  • Familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Experience coordinating software development with external suppliers or internal teams.

  • Prior experience working with defense or government clients is an advantage.

Additional Information

  • Primary workplace: Virum, Denmark.

  • International travel: approximately 10 to 15 days per year.

  • Flexible working hours are required.
