Technical Sales Rep (Industrial)

Summary of Primary Functions: Establish, maintain, and grow customer accounts to generate business. Ensures customer requirements and business plan performance objectives are met from project inception through closeout of the project.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Identify and develop new customers and project opportunities within the assigned Louisiana territory.
  • Evaluate project opportunities to ensure alignment with customer needs, project requirements, and company business plans.
  • Identify market opportunities for new products and services aligned with customer demand and company profitability goals.
  • Monitor and communicate market activity and trends, including competitor activity (e.g., CIP, tilt-up, block & brick, and other precasters).
  • Achieve assigned revenue and performance objectives.
  • Coordinate project pricing and margins with the Sales Manager.
  • Lead and support proposal development, ensuring accuracy in scope, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals and project details are fully understood.
  • Represent the company on bid day for hard-bid opportunities as required.
  • Maintain and report project pipeline activity in the company CRM system.
  • Ensure all required documentation is complete before transferring projects to the Project Management team.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including estimating, engineering, operations, and project management to support project delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects/Engineers, and General Contractors to support design-build and negotiated projects.
  • Maintain regular interaction with employees, management, customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies as needed.


Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education: 4 – year degree in Construction Management, Business, or other related field, with 5(+) years of industry experience is required.

Experience: 5 to 7 (+) years prior or related experience is required.

Travel Requirements: Frequent travel as requirement including overnight.
