Gotion Illinois is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support hiring efforts for our U.S. operations. This role will assist in identifying and attracting technical talent essential to the ramp‑up of our advanced battery production facility. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting in manufacturing, engineering, or technology environments and a passion for connecting skilled candidates with impactful work. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs, source qualified candidates, and help build strong teams that support the growth of our Illinois operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to identify and attract top talent for technical roles in manufacturing, operations, and engineering.
  • Source and screen candidates using a variety of methods, including online job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Conduct initial phone interviews and in-person interviews to assess candidate skills and qualifications.
  • Work with hiring managers to develop and execute interview plans.
  • Prepare and present offer letters to candidates.
  • Onboard new hires and provide them with the support they need to be successful.
  • Track and report on recruiting metrics.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical roles.
  • Excellent sourcing, screening, and interviewing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for EV battery companies.

 

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000.00 – $85,000.00, plus eligibility for 15% bonus and benefits. 

Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. The range listed in the job posting represents the minimum and maximum target salaries for this position across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
