POSITION PURPOSE
The Technical Project Manager will plan, implement, track, and report status on multiple overlapping projects. The projects will range from short term customer orders to longer term new product development projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The successful candidate should be able to show experience in managing both tactical and strategic projects, and should have a track record of driving improvements within defined processes Drive accountability to the project members and monitor progress and proactively identify potential problems in a project and work with appropriate resources to resolve issues
• Define scope of projects with Senior Management and develop the detailed project plans identifying the required activities, sequences, and resources required to effectively meet customer and business needs
• Develop forms and methods of tracking project activities and deliverables, and utilize them to monitor resources during projects and evaluate outcomes in order to drive positive change to future projects
• Communicate with customer contacts in order to define specific requirements for projects
• Provide regular communication to project team and management regarding status of multiple tactical and strategic projects
• All other duties as assigned
