At our location in Darmstadt we are currently looking for a

 

Technical Project Manager, Staff (m/f/d)

 

to act as the technical lead for complex and strategically relevant projects in an international environment.

Your tasks

• Lead technical focal point for complex projects, including responsibility for technical reviews, approvals and decision-making
• End-to-end responsibility for technical project execution, ensuring alignment with quality, cost and timing targets
• Representation of technical solutions towards internal and external stakeholders
• Managing complex technical issues using holistic solution approaches and strong technical judgment
• Coordination of cross-functional and international teams along the entire development lifecycle
• Contribution to project planning, resource estimation and budgeting, in close collaboration with project management
• Responsibility for change management activities, including impact assessment, coordination of technical changes
• Development and continuous improvement of technical processes, methods and standards, including participation in expert committees and technical boards
• Perform complex technical and methodological analyses and derive appropriate corrective and preventive measures
• Preparation of communication of technical results and recommendations to key stakeholders

 

Your profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent qualification with strong functional and technical expertise
• Extensive professional experience in technical project management, preferably in battery systems, automotive or comparable complex system environments
• Several years of experience as responsible technical interface for complex project scopes with internal and external stakeholders
• High level of autonomy and accountability within a complex technical and organizational environment
• Proven ability to solve novel and complex problems, developing new solution patterns where existing approaches are insufficient
• Strong analytical, structuring and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholder interests
• Experience in functional leadership, including coordination of cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams
