Job Description Summary

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for leading cross functional teams to deliver customer programs in line with contractual commitments and business objectives. Acting as a key link between customers and internal teams, this role ensures clear communication, effective coordination, and timely resolution of issues. The position operates with a degree of autonomy within established sales and operational frameworks and is subject to regular performance reviews. The role may support medium sized programs or customer portfolios.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all contract‑related performance activities for assigned customer programs.

  • Serve as the primary interface between customers and internal business teams, ensuring effective communication and information flow.

  • Drive timely resolution of issues, keeping customers informed of program progress and negotiating changes or solutions as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual service, operational, performance, financial, and technical requirements.

  • Support proposal development and contribute to contract negotiations when required.

  • Build and maintain in‑depth knowledge of assigned sales territories, product lines, markets, and customer groups, using commercial experience to support business strategy.

  • Apply an understanding of key business drivers and how team activities integrate with other functions to support overall business objectives.

  • Make program‑level decisions within defined frameworks, exercising judgment and initiative where appropriate.

  • Use technical skills, analytical thinking, and internal expertise to resolve routine and moderately complex challenges.

  • Act as an individual contributor with strong interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with colleagues and providing informal guidance to new team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in Program Management and/or Product Management.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience (high school diploma with relevant professional experience).

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • Proven program management capabilities, including coordination of multiple activities and deliverables.

  • Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and contract‑driven environments.

  • Strong problem‑solving skills and analytical mindset, with the ability to operate within established processes and frameworks.
