About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our B2B Platform teams and lead complex, cross-functional technical programs. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of core capabilities and services that power Dow Jones's suite of enterprise products. As a key leader, you will drive the successful delivery of technical programs that are foundational to Dow Jones's offerings and critical to the success of multiple business units.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned technical leader to shape how mission-critical data is delivered at scale—Dow Jones powers risk and decision-making for some of the world's most dynamic global businesses.
You Will:
Define and drive strategic programs that span major business units, establishing the vision, governance models, and organizational alignment required to deliver enterprise-level outcomes and significant competitive advantages.
Proactively identify and solve complex, systemic issues across the department, leading operational changes that scale across business units, and utilizing data-driven decision-making to justify large-scale improvements and technology investments.
Serve as the "go-to" person for high-stakes, ambiguous challenges, actively bridging gaps between Technology and all business stakeholders to forge alignment and proactively anticipate and resolve organizational and technical risks at the highest level.
Make others better through mentoring and technical guidance, setting high-bar quality standards, and establishing the best practices and quality metrics that improve team or department-wide outcomes and foster predictable, drama-free launches.
Take ultimate accountability for delivering integrated programs, adapting plans based on shifting priorities, and making timely, strategic decisions that expertly balance long-term technology implications with technical, analytical, product, and financial trade-offs.
You Have:
7+ years of project or program management experience.
A proven track record of successfully leading complex programs from strategy through execution, expertly balancing long-term technical vision with immediate scope, schedule, and financial constraints.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to influence decision-making and foster alignment among executive, cross-functional, and diverse business stakeholders.
Proficient in defining integrated program roadmaps, applying risk prioritization models at an organizational scale, and utilizing Agile methodologies to adapt planning and drive solutions that account for technical, analytical, engineering, and product trade-offs.
An extensive background in operational excellence, regularly track and interpret metrics to report on project success, identify quality issues, and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity.
Highly capable of designing sophisticated dashboards and leveraging trend analysis/forecasting for strategic decision-making.
