The Role

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive product development and launches for key products, including Antigravity. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex launch processes, managing cross-functional dependencies, and ensuring successful adoption of cutting-edge tools and features across Google and externally. This role requires a blend of program management expertise, technical acumen, and strong communication skills to manage releases, coordinate with various teams, and support our growing user base.

Key responsibilities:

  • Antigravity Product Launches: Drive end-to-end launch processes for product launches, including working across cross-functional stakeholders to manage new features both across Google and externally, overseeing release management, and managing serving capacity to ensure smooth rollouts.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Lead collaborations with teams across Google to develop new features and integrate into our products. Build effective working relationships, guiding alignment on project goals, managing interdependencies, and ensuring clear communication and risk management.
  • User Engagement and Community Building: Strategize and implement programs to increase product adoption across Google and externally, supporting and nurturing our users, crafting and disseminating broader communications, including user-facing documentation.
  • Product Metrics & Reporting: Drive creation of product dashboards to track key metrics and report on progress, understanding evolving user needs from both Google teams and externally for individuals/enterprises.

About You

In order to set you up for success as a Technical Program Manager at Google DeepMind,  we look for the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management in a technical software environment.
  • Experience managing product launches and working through the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis.

In addition, the following would be an advantage: 

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience launching internal and external-facing developer products at scale to individuals as well as businesses and enterprises and promoting adoption within a large organization.
  • Strong understanding of release management processes and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects with cross-team stakeholders, influencing and leading without managerial authority.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries engaging senior leadership.

 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $156,000 - $229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
