We are seeking a Technical Program Manager with Agile Coach experience to support one to two teams in developing strong Agile mindsets, practices, and ways of working. Working under the mentorship of a senior Agile Coach, this role focuses on observing team dynamics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and guiding teams toward greater collaboration, self-organization, and predictable value delivery.

 

You will be responsible for: 

Coaching & Team Support

  • Coach teams on Agile values, principles, and frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Observe team interactions to identify impediments, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
  • Guide teams in developing self-organization, accountability, and continuous improvement habits.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and workshops that promote reflection and learning.
  • Support teams through resistance to change and help them adopt new behaviors and practices.

 

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Product Managers, Program Managers, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders to align team priorities with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to cross-team discussions to identify dependencies and shared improvement opportunities.
  • Build trusting relationships across teams and departments to promote shared accountability and transparency.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences, adapting style as needed.

 

Influence & Facilitation

  • Use questions, coaching techniques, and guided conversations to help teams uncover insights and solve problems.
  • Encourage experimentation, learning, and incremental improvement.
  • Influence without authority by building credibility, trust, and psychological safety.

 

 Metrics & Tools

  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Slack/Teams to support transparency, flow, and team alignment.
  • Interpret Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to help teams understand performance and spot improvement areas.
  • Partner with technical stakeholders to understand technical processes, blockers, and dependencies.

 

Organizational & Industry Awareness

  • Connect Agile practices to broader organizational goals, customer needs, and industry context.
  • Stay informed about emerging Agile trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Identify systemic impediments and collaborate with senior coaches or leadership to address them.

You should apply if you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience, ideally with exposure to Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks, practices, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A demonstrated interest in Agile coaching and continuous improvement.
