As a Product Owner at Clario, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering innovative clinical technology solutions that accelerate high‑quality evidence generation. Sitting at the intersection of product strategy and engineering execution, you will partner with software engineers, quality engineers, and AI specialists to transform business and customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements. You will help guide Agile teams across a complex clinical technology platform, ensuring that product development remains technically feasible, user‑centered, and compliant with regulatory and quality standards within the clinical research ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Doing
Own and manage the product backlog for one or more Agile Scrum teams
Translate customer needs and business objectives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items
Collaborate closely with software engineers, quality engineers, AI engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver high‑impact product features
Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and product requirement discussions
Act as the primary product contact for engineering teams during development cycles
Drive alignment between product vision, engineering execution, and user needs
Coordinate delivery across cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent, incremental product releases
Help manage dependencies across multiple components (“assets”) of the platform
Lead product demos and participate in feedback sessions with internal and external stakeholders
Ensure product features align with regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements
Provide visibility into product progress, risks, and cross‑team dependencies
What We Look For
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Product Engineer in a software development environment
Strong experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and Agile delivery processes
Demonstrated experience working closely with software engineering teams in Agile Scrum environments
Ability to prioritize work across multiple initiatives and diverse stakeholder groups
Strong customer focus with an ability to advocate for user needs
Technical fluency and ability to communicate effectively with engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and modern product development platforms
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare, clinical trials, or life sciences is a plus
Interest in AI‑enabled and data‑driven technology platforms
Based in Canada and able to work remotely
