The Technical Product Owner plays a key role in driving the technical direction of digital products, ensuring strong alignment between business needs and engineering execution. This role bridges product and technology, guiding teams on architecture, technical requirements, and delivery priorities. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product strategy while shaping scalable, high-quality solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to recommend technology solutions that align with business goals
  • Drive technical direction by translating product needs into clear architecture and design requirements
  • Lead collaboration between engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Own and prioritize technical backlogs, balancing functional enhancements and technical improvements
  • Define and document non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security
  • Guide sprint planning by clarifying technical scope and removing blockers for development teams
  • Support product roadmaps by researching, proposing, and implementing forward-looking solutions
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and performance frameworks

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in information technology, including software development and product ownership
  • 3+ years of experience in a technology leadership or team guidance role

Preferred:

  • Hands-on development experience with Python, C#, and SQL
  • Experience with AWS and enterprise system integration
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and mentor developers, including offshore teams
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and Agile methodologies
