Technical Product Manager (OTE $70,000/year USD), @Sparkrock Finance

Belgrade / Bucharest / Budapest / Warsaw / Prague / Kiev / Sofia Full Time
Are you a high-performing Technical Product Manager with strategic vision and deep technical expertise? Do you want to work for a best-in-class, 100% remote organization with the brightest talent from around the world? If so, then keep reading…

At Sparkrock, we help social benefit organizations—such as nonprofits, school boards, and government agencies—reach their full potential through technology. Every day, over 150,000 people use our ERP and product platforms to work more efficiently, freeing up time and resources to focus on the good they want to achieve.

As a Technical Product Manager, you will own the technical product direction of Sparkrock’s Finance ERP, powering mission-driven organizations across the Non-Profit and Education sectors. This role goes beyond writing requirements – you will define the technical vision, design scalable financial solutions, and work closely with engineering, customers, and go-to-market teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and high-impact financial systems.

In this role, you’ll take true end-to-end ownership of a core ERP Finance product that serves Non-Profit and K-12 organizations, giving you the chance to shape both product strategy and technical architecture in meaningful ways. You’ll work closely with customers, finance teams, and implementation partners, tackling complex, real-world finance challenges while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on technical design. The work offers a unique opportunity to modernize and scale financial systems through cloud technologies, automation, and analytics, directly improving transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency for mission-driven organizations. While the finance domain brings rigor, regulatory complexity, and constant trade-offs between speed, correctness, and flexibility, it also provides a deeply rewarding environment where thoughtful design, collaboration, and precision can have a lasting, positive impact.

If you thrive at the intersection of finance domain expertise, ERP systems, and the Non-Profit industry vertical and technical architecture, this role is for you.

*Solution & Architecture Design: Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions, including workflows, integrations, data models, and APIs.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, QA, implementation, and customer success to ensure solutions are feasible, maintainable, and aligned with product vision.
*Documentation & Specifications: Produce detailed functional and technical specifications, diagrams, and decision records.
*Technical Validation & Risk Management: Evaluate trade-offs, ensure accounting correctness, performance, auditability, and compliance considerations are addressed.
*Release Readiness: Ensure features are production-ready with clear rollout plans, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
