  • Salary: $65,956.00 - $94,999.00 + super + salary packaging

About the role

  • Deliver high-quality pathology services across St Vincent’s Hospital, SydPath collection centres, and other major clients, ensuring patient-focused care at every stage.

  • Perform hands-on laboratory testing accurately and efficiently, producing reliable results that support critical clinical decisions.

  • Maintain and optimise laboratory equipment and supplies, keeping operations safe, smooth, and fully compliant with quality standards.

  • Communicate urgent and critical results promptly to clinicians, enabling timely interventions and excellent patient outcomes.

  • Support a professional, ethical, and high-performing laboratory environment through quality assurance, teamwork, and training of staff.


About you

  • Holds a tertiary qualification in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent, with relevant haematology and immunology subjects from a recognised institution.

  • Experienced in Haematology, Haemostasis, and Transfusion Medicine, with recent hands-on laboratory experience.

  • Committed to ongoing professional development and actively engages in CPD activities.

  • Skilled in using laboratory IT systems, able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

  • Flexible and reliable, able to participate in a 24/7 rotational roster and adapt to changing work demands.
