Technical Lead – Vantage & RPS

Job Description:

We are looking for a Tech Lead to drive Managed Services delivery for Vantage and RPS insurance administration platforms. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who enjoys combining hands‑on technical depth, team leadership, and client‑facing ownership in a mission‑critical Life & Annuity environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across large‑scale insurance systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end Managed Services delivery for Vantage and RPS platforms
  • Own service reliability, SLAs, incidents, problems, and changes
  • Act as the technical escalation point for complex production issues
  • Provide technical leadership across batch, online transactions, APIs, and interfaces
  • Mentor and guide onshore and offshore engineering teams
  • Partner closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and trust
  • Drive automation, standardization, and operational efficiency improvements
  • Support releases, upgrades, and production stabilization activities

What You Bring

  • 10–15+ years of experience working with Vantage and/or RPS platforms
  • Strong expertise in Mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, schedulers
  • Solid understanding of Life & Annuity insurance domain and policy lifecycle
  • Proven experience in Managed Services / AMS / Run & Maintain engagements
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and experience handling high‑severity incidents
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in distributed, onshore‑offshore delivery models
