About the position:

Chevron invites applications for the role of Technical Lead in India. The successful candidate will be working with business stakeholders to prototype and deliver innovative data science applications that add value to Chevron’s business. This position will provide broad exposure to the application of technology to enable business with many opportunities for growth and professional development for the candidate.

• Perform troubleshooting, analysis, coordination, and resolution of various types of production issues.

• Collaborate closely with Business Partners to gather business requirements.
• Analyze and understand SAP EAM and IAM capabilities developed to support asset maintenance critical business processes, functionality, business KPIs.
• Configure the SAP EAM and IAM solutions to meet business needs or resolve issues.
• Open to develop basic technical expertise on any of the following - ABAP code analysis/low code development, SAP Security, continuous integration, or automation.
• Partner with developers to design, code and implement custom or complex solutions.
• Analyze, devise, and execute system tests to verify solutions’ effectiveness.
• Oversee the deployment of solutions to the production environments.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.
• May act as subject matter mentor to more junior team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of experience in supporting SAP EAM, Plant Maintenance Module, S4/HANA. 5 - 10 years of experience


• Hands-on experience in Asset Lifecycle Management and preventive maintenance using SAP EAM
• Proficiency in SAP EAM Configuration
• Experience with SAP ECC, S/4 HANA and integrations with SAP modules (e.g. MM, FI, CO etc)
• Knowledge of ITIL based management practices, Agile Methodology.
• Familiarity with SAP Work Manager, SAP Asset Manager
• Demonstrated proficiency and hands-on experience on SAP S4Hana in application operations support and/or project implementation within the Enterprise Asset Management function OR SAP S4Hana, Master Data Governance (MDG), SAP EAM Extensions (e.g. Utopia) in application operations support and/or project implementation
• Knowledgeable in Configuration based on functional area of expertise,
• Proven ability in analytical and problem-solving skills,
• Strong English communication skills, both oral and written,
• Strong customer focus and results-orientation.
• Self-motivated and Team player

• Experience working with clients in Oil and Gas/ Manufacturing industry within the SAP EAS function/domain
• MUST have hands-on experience with S/4 HANA (at least 2-3 implementations/maintenance/support projects) in Dev/QA/Production environment
• MUST have hands on experience on Upgrades, Add-on Installations, HANA Scale-out environment and well versed with multi-tenant DBs.
