As a Technical Leader, you will lead a core part of our checkout user experience structure, combining technical excellence, architecture ownership, and people leadership to drive the evolution of our payments ecosystem.



🟣 How Yuno will challenge you

•Lead the technical direction of Yuno’s checkout and payment user experience across web and multiplatform environments.
•Act as the technical reference for frontend architecture, ensuring seamless integration with backend services and payment flows.
•Combine technical leadership with hands-on contribution, including UI architecture decisions, code reviews, performance optimization, and complex UX-related troubleshooting.
•Drive high-quality, scalable, and maintainable frontend solutions, with strong attention to usability, accessibility, and conversion-focused user experience.
•Partner closely with Backend, Product, Design, and Payments teams to align technical execution with business, UX, and platform requirements.
•Ensure best practices in frontend engineering, including coding standards, component reuse, documentation, testing, observability, and performance monitoring.
•Lead the evolution of checkout experiences across multiple platforms, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability.
• Translate complex technical and UX concepts into clear communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to architectural discussions involving frontend–backend communication, APIs, and payment integrations, with payments experience considered a strong plus.


🟣 The skills you need

Minimum Qualifications 
•Fluency in English, Spanish is a plus.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams for + 3 years.
• Strong ability to drive technical decision-making, coach engineers, and manage changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Engineering
•Strong experience leading frontend or user-facing technical initiatives.
•Hands-on knowledge of frontend development and UI architecture.
•Ability to work closely with backend teams and understand API integrations.
•Experience with multiplatform applications (web and/or mobile).
•Strong focus on user experience, usability, and performance.
•Working knowledge of Kotlin, Go, and Node.js.
•Experience working with SDK.


Preferred Qualifications
•Experience in the payments teams, areas
•Experience working with SCRUM or agile frameworks.
