Are you an experienced mechanical aviation professional ready to step off the tools and into a role where you shape the next generation?  

We are seeking a confident and engaging Technical Instructor to support the C-27J program. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on aircraft experience who thrives in front of a classroom and is passionate about mentoring others. Bring your technical expertise to our critical Through Life Support program for the C27J Spartan, working as part of a team that values technical excellence, passion, drive and autonomy.  

In this role you will deliver high quality mechanical training to aviation personnel supporting the Spartan TLS program, using your real-world maintenance experience into structured, practical training modules that builds capability and confidence within the maintenance cohort. You will also be responsible for:  

  • Development and delivery of classroom and practical mechanical instruction.  

  • Mentor and support trainees through complex technical concepts.  

  • Ensure compliance with aviation safety and regulatory standards.

About You: 

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Proven experience working on aircrafts. 

  • Cert IV Aeroskills or equivalent.  

  • Previous experience within an aviation or defence environment.  

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.  

  • Cert IV in training and assessment is highly desirable.
