We are looking for a Technical Inside Sales Engineer to strengthen our Dutch team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our customers (installers, distributors, system designers) and our sales team, providing technical expertise that supports both. Your main mission is to ensure that stakeholders designing, installing, and maintaining PV systems fully understand the value of the Haier Energy product line, and to provide the technical foundation that drives sales success.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers and the sales team throughout the sales cycle
Prepare and deliver clear, high-quality technical presentations and product demonstrations
Meet with installers, system designers, and distributors, independently or alongside sales colleagues
Identify customer requirements and propose Haier solutions that meet their needs
Track and document customer requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Support system design based on customer specifications
Ensure compliance with local product certifications and regulations, collaborating with sales, support, and Product Management teams
Maintain and update a competitors’ solutions database to highlight Haier’s unique selling points (USPs)
Assist with trade shows, events, and training sessions across Netherlands
What you need to succeed
Education: Degree or master’s in Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or similar technical field
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the solar industry; knowledge of renewables or inverters is an advantage
Soft skills:
Strong technical communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly to different stakeholders
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while being a strong team player
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
Languages: Fluency in Dutch (essential) and good command of English; additional languages are a plus
Must have: Willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands
