Technical Infrastructure and Architecture Lead

The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a highly experienced Technical Infrastructure and Architecture Lead to work on a key program supporting the U.S. Department of State as the Manager over a team supporting a large Integrated Logistics System consisting of numerous applications. This role serves as the primary interface between the Infrastructure and Architecture team and the Program Management Office working in coordination with the government, overseeing all aspects of scope status.

The Lead will be responsible for the overall execution and success of the primary Infrastructure and Architecture Team as well as providing leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day oversight for all team personnel. This includes ensuring technical excellence, operational efficiency, and ensuring Service Level Agreement metrics are exceeded.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsive, and collaborative, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams, maintain strong customer relationships, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the customer, providing regular updates on project status, risks, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Lead, manage, and guide all contractor personnel assigned on the team.  

  • Manage the technical system, including sub-components and supporting technologies, to ensure overall system reliability, flexibility, and availability with minimal disruptions to service.

  • Maintaining the technical infrastructure critical to ensuring a viable, modern architecture and providing a reliable and highly available system

  • Manage the technical system, including subcomponents and supporting technologies, to ensure overall system reliability, flexibility, and availability with minimal disruptions to service

  • Support Business Development and Capture activities across the Fed Civ IT Division including customer conversations, solutioning, teaming calls, reviews, and more.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance.

  • Masters degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience or a Doctorate with 13+ years prior relevant experience. Additional years of relevant experience maybe be considered in lieu of degree.

  • At least 8 years of experience with Integrated Logistics Management System experience supporting technologies and domains.

  • Experience leveraging strategic, operational, and tactical skills and knowledge to apply understanding of Integrated Logistics Management System technologies and domains

  • Experience identifying upcoming industry changes and be in front of trends

  • Experience and ability to recommend operational efficiencies and strategic modernizations.

  • Required PeopleSoft Architecture experience

  • Experience within the Department of State

  • Experience with Logistics System Management

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP Certified

Pay Range:

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
