What you will be responsible for 

• Be a subject matter expert on all technical aspects of the Axioma Risk platform, including data integration, security and permissions, system configurations and best practice, across both the UI and the API.
• Able to understand the business and operational requirements of Clients, ranging from asset managers and banks, to hedge funds and family offices, and implement these within the capabilities of the Risk platform.
• Document Client requirements and translate these into specifications documents for Product Management. 
• Design and implement API based solutions to overcome technical challenges around data integration and generation of risk analytics, in order to meet customer requirements.
• Work with Engineering, DevOps and Content to overcome issues around scalability and coverage.
• Provide technical support across all phases of Client onboarding (Pre-Sales, Implementation, BAU), answering enquiries from Clients and establish credibility with Client senior management and business sponsors.

What we value 

• Bachelors degree or higher (US or foreign equivalent) in Computational Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related subject. 
• 5-7 years of implementation experience with a quantitative financial technology firm, on enterprise size projects.

• Expertise with Rest-APIs is an important requirement, along with programming experience in either Python or C#.
• Strong knowledge of financial risk and risk management
• Strong in person and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience of Simcorp Dimension or other IBOR is a plus.

• Experience of IT project management is a plus.

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $130,000 - 160,000 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
