About Your Role 

We are looking for a Technical Evangelist to join our team and create compelling and exciting content for observing and securing AI workloads. Reporting directly to CTO and working with a small co-located engineering team in Cork, you will be the first Technical Evangelist dedicated to how Tigera can help in securing and observing AI workloads.

You will partner directly with the CTO and the engineering team, and engage with the community to create influential content to help shape the category. You will get the opportunity to work hands-on with the engineering team to understand the products and new features at a deep technical level and how to translate into compelling content. The successful candidate will work hybrid out of our Cork city office. 

 

You will:

Create Category-Defining Technical Content

  • Build highly technical blogs, workshops, and demo environments for AI workloads in Kubernetes. Become an expert in protocols such as A2A and MCP and technologies like AI Gateways and proxies, LLM model serving patterns and more. 
  • Produce architectural explanations, deep dives, and clear diagrams for engineering audiences.
  • Write and publish hands-on tutorials showing how teams can secure and observe AI workloads - including best practices and learnings from this new and fast-moving space

Be a Technical Voice for Tigera in this space

  • Present at meetups, conferences, internal events, and community spaces.
  • Engage deeply on LinkedIn, GitHub, and industry forums about AI infra, agent security, and emerging standards.
  • Host technical walkthroughs for early design partners and early adopters.

Collaborate Closely With Engineering

  • Work directly with core developers to understand new features and shape messaging.
    Collect field feedback to influence product direction.
    Help define early design patterns, best-practice architectures, and the developer experience.

Understand the Ecosystem

  • Become an expert in the emerging Agentic AI space, keeping a close eye on all the relevant new projects and trends and developments happening. 
  • Create relationships and potential opportunities for collaboration with project and people in the community 
  • Contribute example code, adapters, integrations etc. that help developers adopt the platform.

You have:

  • Demonstrated ability to create technical content for developers, platform engineers, and architects.
  • Fantastic presentation skills with an ability to break down complex technical concepts into clear, engaging stories
  • Experience creating technical content (e.g., blog posts, social content, webinars, meetups, conferences)
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes the initiative to learn and deliver.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical evangelism, product management, or solutions architecture in open source or enterprise software
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Experience creating technical content - engaging blog series, LinkedIn posts, technical video content

 

Highly Desired

  • Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes is a big bonus
  • Experience with AI/ML in some capacity is a strong plus - especially with AI agents, LLMs and emerging technologies in GenAI.
    Background in producing engaging, high-fidelity demo environments.
  • Prior contributions to open-source communities, ideally in the Kubernetes ecosystem.
