Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Establish a sound and balanced capital plan for the plant on yearly basis with the support of process engineers and leadership by function – maintenance, safety, quality, R&D
Establish, execute and realize savings from Automation and Productivity Masterplan
Execute medium to large investment projects from feasibility to startup phase
Support and coach proces
s engineers on project design, planning and execution
Maintain a frequent communication of project status with all stakeholders
Communicate properly risks and help needed to all stakeholders
Anticipate potential issues, develop action and contingency plans
Track schedule, cost and quality of all projects, including deliverables and main KPIs after startup
Develop funding packages for medium to large capital investments
Support organization with agility and technical expertise whenever new business needs come up
Support organization to develop engineering work processes and change management systems
Adhere strictly to standards of quality, OHS and controls established by the CFIA , HACCP Canada and the WSIB/CSST
Ensures that all other local, provincial and country laws and regulations are adhered to in any new project proposals
Requirements:
Ability to communicate fluently (reading, writing, speaking and listening) in English
Must have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment executing projects
Must have completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering
Creative, innovative and detail-oriented
Must be available to travel 20%

Projects will not be limited to location based only

Hours will vary according to projects. Possible need for extended hours and working weekends
Exposure to food products, flour, starch, meat, poultry, seafood, dairy etc.
Comfortable working in an industrial frozen food manufacturing environment with the associated noise/dust levels and refrigerated environment
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Must have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment executing projects.
Experience with lean manufacturing and engineering work processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

$70,127.00 - $124,487.00Actual compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.
