The Opportunity:
You will apply a broad understanding of both quantitative and qualitative analysis and recommendations to improve organizational performance through changes to strategy, organization structure, process, human capital or culture, information technology, enterprise cost reduction, management practices, and cost drivers. You'll make recommendations on how to capitalize on opportunities to improve client performance. You will advise on how to improve operations and increase process efficiency and serve as a practitioner with multiple areas of expertise that span across management advising pillars, as well as other functional communities.

As a general management advisor on our team, you’ll create an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before.

You Have:
5+ years of experience with technical editing in a government or private environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
Ability to proofread for grammar and punctuation with a high level of accuracy
Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience with writing or editing, Associate's degree and 7+ years of experience with writing or editing, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with writing or editing
Nice If You Have:
Knowledge of DoD intelligence editing standards and styles
Knowledge of Community Authorized Classification and Control Markings (CAPCO)
Ability to manage multiple publication projects and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
