What you will be doing
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of UK nuclear power capability by translating highly technical information into compelling economic and technical value propositions. You will work closely with the Central and Federated Business Development teams, supporting campaigns across both Defence and Civil Nuclear marketplaces.
This is a highly visible role that allows you to lead a team of analysts, collaborate across multiple business units, and directly contribute to the strategic growth objectives of Rolls-Royce Submarines. You will gain exposure to senior stakeholders and develop expertise in translating complex nuclear technology and services into winning business cases.
Responsibilities
As a Technical & Economic Value Manager, you will provide expert technical and economic insight to support business development campaigns. In this role, you’ll:
Develop strong technical and economic value propositions for products and services, working closely with Senior Campaign Executives and campaign teams.
Translate complex technical capability into qualitative and quantitative business cases that demonstrate clear client value.
Lead and manage a team of systems, mechanical, and value-modelling analysts to deliver high-quality outputs.
Collaborate across technical, strategy, customer, and government relations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
Drive capability planning to ensure Rolls-Royce is positioned to win future opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.

Extensive technical expertise in nuclear systems, engineering, and services, capable of translating complex information into winning business cases.
Proven leadership skills, able to manage a team of analysts and lead by example.
Experience working in high-pressure, challenging environments with the ability to make decisive decisions.
Strong communication skills, able to present complex technical and economic insights to diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
Highly detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
