About the job

The Technical Due Diligence Engineer reports to the Technical Due Diligence Manager and is responsible for understanding the technical feasibility of assets and advising on any technical, legal, or urban obstacles. The Engineer should verify any future assumptions for an asset that is to be sold or be commercially exploited. The research is not limited to the asset itself, the engineer will also review the relevant technical factors­ as well as legal searches and any documentary evidence in technical reports, previous surveys etc. by monitoring an extended network of external collaborators.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordination and monitoring of all actions required to resolve urban and technical issues on assets

  • Urban & technical inspection of properties

  • Collection of a technical property file (topographic, building permits, approved plans etc.)

  • Evaluation of the urban identity of the buildings and cost analysis of its restoration

  • Coordination and processing of steps necessary for the legalization of existing buildings according to the Greek Legal Framework

  • Responsible for the training of the network of external collaborators

  • Assist or drive project management initiatives, based on business requirements

The person we are looking for

  • Holds a Polytechnic University Degree in Civil Engineering, Rural and Surveying Engineering or Architecture

  • Is experienced in combination of projects, including preparation for sale contracts, legalization of assets by L.4495/2017 and technical studies

  • Has knowledge on topographic issues, GOK, NOK & cadastral issues

  • Has a good understanding of the English Language

  • Works effectively and efficiently in a fast-moving environment

  • Is a team player and an excellent communicator

  • Is a problem solver and has the ability to follow deadlines and deliver under pressure
