In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for working with multi-disciplinary teams in delivering a portfolio of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You’ll work on a range of exciting and impactful projects across WA, solving our Client’s water challenges and bringing innovative solutions to a wide range of cross industry projects.
Technical Expertise: leads the strategic planning, design and implementation of complex solutions to meet client needs, overseeing a team delivering hundreds of million dollars of capital infrastructure annually. The portfolio includes a combination of Sustaining Capital and Utility projects across all asset classes including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment plant upgrades for both water and wastewater, across whole project lifecycle from planning and design through to construction and commissioning support. Responsible for direction and approval of the final design.
Client Focus: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with innovative, cost-effective, sustainable solutions. Understanding their specific challenges and having the ability to interpret and articulate these to give advice on the best for project path forward will be critical to delivery of value.

This role requires a strong engineering background, as well as a collaborative, client-focused approach. You’ll bring:
Experience in Water Infrastructure: At least 20 years in the water or industrial water industry, with strong experience in both small and large-scale projects.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams, with a focus on professional development and inclusivity.
Design Expertise: Experience across the full project lifecycle, from concept design and detailed design through to commissioning.
Communication & Relationship Building: Strong communication skills with a track record of building and nurturing positive client relationships.
Qualifications: A degree in civil, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline. Chartered Engineer status is desirable, or a commitment to achieving this.
