Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native integrations using Microsoft Azure technologies. This hybrid role blends deep technical expertise with leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivery management across a dynamic project portfolio.
You will lead the technical team, shape solution architecture, and manage the development pipeline for an agile development pod. You will also leverage your deep knowledge and experience to coach and mentor colleagues to drive integration solution development good practice across the team.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native integrations using Azure Service Bus, Durable Functions, Event Grid, and managed APIs.
- Mentor and guide a small development team working with .NET 8+, C#, Angular, and Azure Runtime to drive good software engineering practices and execute on reusable architectural design patterns.
- Manage and prioritise the development backlog, ensuring timely delivery of integration solutions that meet business needs, including financial guidelines and estimates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to agree and define technical solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Provide architectural guidance and ensure technical excellence to develop and maintain secure, reliable cloud infrastructure in line with industry best practices.
- Oversee quality assurance through mentoring, code reviews, and technical governance.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic objectives.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Extensive (7+ years) hands-on experience with .NET 8+ and C#, Azure Runtime and Angular, designing and building cloud-native applications.
- Proven expertise in Azure Service Bus, Durable Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Azure-managed APIs.
- Solid background in technical leadership, agile delivery, and mentoring development teams.
- Demonstrable ability to manage stakeholders, third-party vendors and suppliers to help deliver business and technology change with multiple complex high impact workstreams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
- Background in enterprise integration and event-driven architectures.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 124,780.00 - $146,800.00
