The Technical Capability & Learning Partner - APAC will play a critical role in the development and implementation of a robust, regionally aligned operations technical training framework across the APAC region. This framework will ensure the delivery of consistent, timely, and cost-effective competency-based training that supports the safe and effective performance of technical roles in manufacturing sites and service centres.

Through effective management of standardised supplier arrangements and partnerships with external training providers (including RTOs, industry bodies, regulators), this role will be responsible for scalable, high-quality, and compliant training delivery across the region. They will enable accurate training planning and budgeting by identifying and maintaining clear training requirement, and ensure alignment with safety and compliance, driving operational excellence and enhancing workforce capability through high-quality training delivery.

This is a fixed term opportunity commencing January 2026 until December 2027, based at our Artarmon site in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve an aligned technical training framework, ensuring standardisation across the APAC region.

  • Establish and manage standardised supplier arrangements and partnerships with external training providers.

  • Ensure all training programs meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including safety, compliance, and vocational education standards.

  • Design, implement, and manage apprentice and trainee programs aligned with national frameworks and enterprise workforce strategies to build future technical capability.

  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using data, feedback, and performance outcomes.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in training delivery, including the adoption of digital learning tools and platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement.


 

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification in a related field or proven equivalent experience in designing and implementing technical training frameworks in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong understanding of competency-based training and assessment methodologies.

  • Experience managing external training providers and vendor contracts.

  • Demonstrated ability to align training strategies across multiple business units and geographies.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
