We are seeking a Senior Architect / Architect Technical Manager who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing skills to help federal agencies modernize legacy systems, migrate to the cloud, and deliver secure, data-driven, and mission-aligned solutions. This role spans enterprise application architecture, cloud and infrastructure modernization, DevSecOps, and data/AI-enabled platforms, while emphasizing mentorship, governance, and delivery excellence.
Job Location: Must be able to go on-site 5 days a week to the client's office in Washington, DC. Hybrid work flexibility may be available after the first 90 days.
What You Will Do:
Lead the technical architecture for a federal digital modernization program, designing scalable, secure solutions aligned to mission and platform goals.
Architect and oversee CI/CD pipelines and AWS‑hosted enterprise applications to support automated testing, integration, and deployment.
Establish and enforce architecture standards, technical governance, and documentation to ensure compliance with NIST, Section 508, and federal IT requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to distributed teams, supporting high‑quality delivery and continuous improvement.
Evaluate and guide the integration of AI/ML capabilities, microservices, serverless, and event‑driven architectures as part of the overall solution.
Collaborate with program leadership and stakeholders to translate requirements into executable designs, manage technical risks, and support program delivery and orals.
What You Will Bring With You:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
7+ years of technical delivery experience supporting federal customers through
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.) as this work is for a federal contract, and laws do apply.
What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
Master’s degree in a related field.(E.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
Proven ability to architect and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment.
Demonstrated experience deploying and managing enterprise level applications in an AWS Cloud Environment
Experience supporting federal projects, mentoring technical staff, and fostering innovation
Expertise in ensuring technical documentation, code, and processes adhere to industry best practices and comply with relevant federal IT standards and guidelines (e.g.NIST, Section 508 compliance)
Demonstrated experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into digital modernization programs, including assessing feasibility, risks, governance implications, and resource needs.
Ability to translate government mission needs into AI-enabled solutions, working with technical teams to define scope, requirements, and success criteria.
Experience with data engineering, BI platforms, and AI/ML solutions.
Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and event-driven systems.
Experience leading distributed or remote teams.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
