WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

You will be joining the Platform Cloud Support team within SimCorp’s Product Division. The team provides technical support services for internal product and engineering teams across the organization.

You will play a central role in supporting identity and access management (IAM) processes, including user provisioning, access reviews, authentication troubleshooting, and operational support for Microsoft Entra ID. Your work ensures secure, reliable access to critical internal applications and contributes to the overall stability and efficiency of SimCorp’s platform services.

Working closely with senior consultants and engineering teams, you will help maintain smooth operations and support the adoption of best practices across application and identity management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

In this role, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of application and identity services across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure stable operations and resolve technical issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing operational support for Microsoft Entra ID, including user access management, authentication issues, and identity-related configurations

  • Supporting the full identity lifecycle, including access reviews, and authentication issue resolution

  • Assisting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of technical applications aligned with business and operational requirements

  • Troubleshooting routine application and integration issues and escalating complex cases when necessary

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements

  • Monitoring application performance and supporting improvements in reliability and operational efficiency

  • Maintaining technical documentation, including configuration records, procedures, and user guides

  • Supporting application testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and integration

  • Assisting in user support activities and preparing materials that help improve application adoption

  • Contributing to small and medium technical initiatives under the guidance of senior consultants

WHAT WE VALUE

  • 1–3 years of experience in application support, technical operations, or a related technical role

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, including user management and authentication support

  • Experience working with enterprise applications, cloud environments, or distributed systems

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders

  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced team members

  • A proactive mindset and interest in improving operational processes
